The P5B, released in September 1967, became an instant classic and British icon, being the Prime Ministerial transport of choice for Margaret Thatcher, Edward Heath, Jim Callaghan and Harold Wilson. They obviously haven’t lost their cache, because our late Monarch also kept one, albeit in a more regal shade of green. This is my second favourite car, 1969 Rover P5 Coupe.  I’ve owned it for 3 years and all I’ve done is given it a full service.

It has a 3.5 Buick V8 engine and gives out 130bhp.
